Ivatan Blogger recently published quite a few articles about the Iglesia ni Cristo. This blogger is an ardent Roman Catholic Church adherent who’s has no qualms about breaking the law and libeling the Iglesia ni Cristo.
Anyway, his latest article against the Iglesia ni Cristo is about church finances in general and of all things, the absense of an official website. I don’t quite understand why this blogger, and similarly, Eliseo Soriano are so bothered of that fact. I mean, in general, people go to websites not to enhanced their faith. They go there to spam and to flame. Hey, that’s why I screen the comments coming to my blog. Why go to all that trouble when the Iglesia ni Cristo has an open invitation to everyone to come to their houses of woship and listen to church doctrines.
Back to church finances. Do you, Ivantan blogger, really want to compare the finances of the Iglesia ni Cristo and the Roman Catholic Church? Unless you just came out of a cave, you would know how much money, contributions from poor people, the Catholic church has paid for priests’ sex abuse victims. To date, the Catholic church spent $2.6 Billion, that’s billion with a “B”, to pacify sex abuse victims.
The report showed that dioceses, eparchies and religious orders spent nearly $2.1 billion in the years 2004-2008 on settlements, therapy for victims, support for offenders, attorneys’ fees and other costs related to clerical sex abuse.

That’ a quote from a reputable Catholic Publication. While I’m at the subject of quoting, I would advice you, Ivatan blogger, to quote only from reputable, reliable sources. By doing so, you get reliable, reputable information and you won’t be guilty of libel, like what you’ve done on your blog. You can usually tell if they’re reliable because they would stand by what they wrote or said and can withstand scrutiny.

Kerry-born parish priest Fr Jeremiah McGrath (64) gave to convicted child rapist William Adams to help groom the 12-year-old for sex. AN IRISH priest sentenced to five years in prison for aiding the rape of a young girl is to appeal his sentence.
So, you quoted an anonymous website showing some numbers and claiming these numbers are an “average yearly amount that a single INC member submit”. Now if you believe this, then you are one gullible Ivatan. Anyone can make claims like this but because the source is not refutable, it’s not even worth the bandwidth you used to quote it.
I can also make claims like that. I can claim that some if not all Catholic churchs charge for services, like marriage. But unlike you, I can show proof that a Catholic church do indeed church for service.
The Sacred Heart Catholic Parish of Klamath Falls, OR, U.S.A. has this pricelist on their website:
10.There is a charge of $300 for us to provide this service to you. This is not a tax -deductible
charitable donation; this is a fee charged by the church for services rendered. This fee includes the
preparation time and the use of the Church. $50 will be refunded to you if the Church is left in
clean condition.16. The organist and soloist (unless they are friends who have volunteered their services) should be
given a gratuity for their services. The organist fee is $100 and the soloist fee is $75.17. Altar servers are not necessary. If you decide you want servers, we can usually find them for you.
They should also be given a gratuity of at least $10 each.
You further claimed that full time ministers get $12,000 a year. But again you do not provide any reliable source to support it. But even if the figure $12,000 is true, it’s small compared to the $30,000 a Catholic priest receive. That amount is from the priest regular salary plus payments in cash on such services rendered like wedding, baptism and memorial services. You know that all these services have fees, unlike the Iglesia ni Cristo which do not charge any fee for marriage service. They even do the cleaning of the worship service after the ceremony.
The rest of your blog is a copy paste of a whole lot of gobbledygook from the “source” you quoted which I decided not to waste my time on.
I just ripped apart what Ivatan blogger hoped was somehow a serious attack on the Iglesia ni Cristo. He now has to live with the thought that the money they send to Rome will end up, rightly so i may add, to somehow placate those poor souls who trusted their priest and were taken advantage of. Those priest are still out there and are probably planning on whom to victimize next. Let’s just hope and pray that somehow these victims will escape the clutches of the evildoers.

nice one bro… finally found you here.
